Fast-growing, award-winning construction company Morganstone, which has its headquarters in Llanelli, South Wales, is to open a second office in Cardiff. The move will eventually create as many as 80 new jobs in the city.
The office will be in the Pentwyn area of the city. The address is: Unit 9, Deryn Court, Wharfedale Road, Cardiff, CF23 7HA.
The move reflects the rapid growth of the company and the expansion of its footprint into East Wales and the South West of England.
The company has won a series of notable contracts in the region and has recently acquired development approval for the last available plot of land on Schooner Way in Cardiff Bay.
The office will allow it to better service its clients in these areas and provide a base for its staff in the city.
The company has almost doubled its turnover in the past two years to around £20 million and has received numerous accolades including the Fastest Growing Medium to Large firm at the Fast Growth 50 Awards at an awards ceremony in Cardiff.
Morganstone delivers high-quality developments for public sector organisations, private developers and residential landlords across Wales and the South West of England.
Ian Morgan, managing director of Morganstone, said:
“We are delighted to be opening this office in Cardiff which is an important step in our growth as a company.
“Our presence in the capital will allow us far greater opportunity to increase and expand our areas of operation in south east Wales and the south of England”
