Groundworks
Morganstone’s groundworks capability is committed to exceptionally high standards of service, quality and safety.
Morganstone has the capability, experience and calibre of staff to take on any type of groundworks project.
We have experience in working across a large number of sectors including residential, commercial, leisure, education and civils. We have the engineering capability to undertake the full suite of groundworks and infrastructure services including, but not limited to setting out, foundations, drainage and attenuation, highway construction, new service installations, service diversions, installation of street furniture, kerbing and paving.
We currently have over 70 directly employed highly trained and experienced groundworks operatives working alongside a highly motivated and experienced management team. We have a large number of our team who hold Street Works and Welsh Water accredited supervisors and operatives training.
Our experience of managing all the processes and construction works associated with securing section agreements (e.g. section 104, 38 and 278 works) is extensive. We have extensive experience of managing and ensuring a smooth and effective adoption process with utility companies and local authorities. This is based on many years of establishing effective relationships with all stakeholders involved.
Morganstone are currently working to accredited procedures ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001. In line with these procedures we have established and maintain an integrated Business Management System (BMS) to reduce risk and improve the overall Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality (SHEQ) performance of the company.
Morganstone also maintain and operate an impressive fleet of owned plant to support the groundworks capability. This consists of excavators (13T, 14T and 22.5T), telehandlers, 9T dumpers and 6T dumpers. We also have a range of compactor plates, survey equipment such as lasers and disc cutters.
