What to expect from our ‘Meet the Buyer’ event

Sinclair Suite – Liberty Stadium, Swansea

9am-12.00pm

The event will be hosted by Morganstone’s Business Development Director, Stuart Davies, and will also see a speech by Managing Director, Ian Morgan, on the rise of Morganstone. The event will also be heavily represented by various Morganstone departments including: Buying, Estimating, Commercial and Community.

The event will provide attendees with the opportunity to network with sub-contractors, suppliers and consultants alongside a variety of exhibitors such as: Coleg Sir Gar, Gower College, Neath Port Talbot College, Cardiff University, Cyfle Building Skills, Y Prentis, CITB, Construction Futures Wales and  Ospreys in the Community.

All of the exhibitors will have pop up stands and will be readily available to answer any queries you have about their organisations and to discuss their working relationships with Morganstone.

FE Colleges and Cardiff University

The education organisations attending will include: Cardiff University, Coleg Sir Gar, Gower College and Neath Port Talbot College. They will be able to provide information around courses for any attendees interested in improving their personal development. This information would not only centre around construction-led courses, but also leadership, management and anything of the like.

Apprenticeship bodies

Morganstone has close working links with both Cyfle Building Skills and Y Prentis. Both of the organisations work to get more people into sustainable employment within the construction industry through apprenticeships. Both Cyfle and Y Prentis will be able to answer any queries regarding apprenticeships within the construction industry and will be on hand to give their thoughts on what it’s like to work with Morganstone.

CITB

CITB are the Industry Training Board and a partner in the Sector Skills Council for the construction industry in England, Scotland and Wales. They will be heavily supporting the event and contacting any registered parties to offer one to one appointments with the relevant departments at Morganstone should they require it.

Construction Futures Wales

Construction Futures Wales (CFW) is a unique and fully funded initiative by Welsh Government and the CITB offering the Welsh construction industry the support that it needs to grow. They will also be available to offer any advice your business may need regarding training, how to access funding and help with answering any other questions you may have around growing your business.

Ospreys in the Community

Morganstone have an ever-growing relationship with Ospreys in the Community and this is highlighted by Morganstone’s contribution to the TACKLE Employability Programme. The TACKLE Programme is aimed at people aged 18-24 who are not currently in education, employment or training. Ospreys in the Community will be available to give more information about their TACKLE Programme along with their other initiatives. They are partnered with various and are always looking to find further working opportunities for members of the TACKLE Programme.
