Customer Care 2

Welcome to our new customer care team!

Morganstone have recently welcomed 2 new members to our customer care department, boasting 35 years customer service experience between them!

We are so excited to have Amy and Amanda join our team with their combined wealth of knowledge and experience and can’t wait to incorporate this into the current customer care service we offer our clients.

Let’s get to know them a little better…

Amy Bird, Customer Care Administrator

What is your past experience?

I was delighted when the opportunity arose back in 2014 to experience a career within the construction industry as part of the multi million pound development Ysgol Bro Dinefwr in Llandeilo. Albeit a short 18 month project timeline based working experience, I found that I had fallen in love with the industry. Fast forward 6 years and I am thrilled to be given the opportunity to reignite my passion for construction, bringing with me 5 years of experience.

What does your new role involve?

The main body of my role as a Customer Care Administrator involves liaising directly with clients, reisdents and contractors in order to orchestrate completion of any defects reported during contractual DLP (Defect Liability Period).

What are you looking forward to about your new role?

I am very much looking forward to being able to take the reins of customer care, building relationships with clients, residents and contractors, whilst both driving down the quantity of open defects and analysing the data to address potential repetitive trend of defects and address the root cause, with a view to reducing defect quantities in the future.

Can you tell us a little bit about yourself?

I was born in Devon but grew up in Wales. Having lived here for the majority of my life I am passionate about the country and the developments that Morganstone are a part of. My hobbies include physical activities such as yoga and attending fitness classes, after spending long periods of my working day based at a desk I enjoy nothing more than the ability to challenge myself physically as well as mentally.

Amanda Bamford, Customer Care Administrator

What is your past experience?

I have a background that spans over 29 years in customer service, starting in Lloyds Bank and then to Persimmon Homes. Following on from that I worked for Dawsons Estate Agents and most recently the NHS.

What are you looking forward to about your new role?

I am very much looking forward to the challenge in my new role and dealing with clients, residents and contractors. I am also excited to work alongside my colleagues in the customer care department.

Can you tell us a little about yourself?

I am a married mum of two, my eldest is currently studying in Bristol University. I live in Bynea and much of my spare time is spent along the millennium coastal path with my family and two dogs.
