Morganstone - We Break Ground At Important Cardiff Bay Development

We Break Ground at Important Cardiff Bay Development

Construction has begun on our prestigious new development in Cardiff Bay – and we were delighted to gather together with our close partners on the Schooner Way project, Cardiff Community Housing Association (CCHA) and employers agents RPA Group.

This new development of 85 apartments for sale and 32 affordable homes will front and overlook Bute East Dock, offering 1, 2, 3 and 4 bedroom properties, in a mix of social and private housing.

The development cements the successful working relationship established between Morganstone and CCHA while we worked together on the nearby Hamadryad Court development, in Cardiff Bay.

Our Project Manager at Schooner Way, Ken Evans, said: “We are delighted to mark the beginning of the Schooner Way development with this ceremony.

“We expect work to continue onsite until December 2018 and we will keep the local community informed throughout the construction process, with regular letter drops, newsletters, a community notice board and updates available on our website.

“We are very proud of the work we are doing in the capital city and we are pleased to be working alongside partners who share our ethos of providing homes for all which improve people’s daily lives.”

Caroline Lewis, Director of Development at Cardiff Community Housing Association, added: “It is pleasing to see work commence on the Schooner Way site. CCHA is well established as a leading social housing provider in the city and we are delighted to be instrumental to the Schooner Way development.

“CCHA are excited to be able to offer homes for sale within the heart of Cardiff in our first open market development. Whilst offering homes for sale, CCHA will also deliver much-needed affordable family homes.”
