Two Morganstone developments win Considerate Constructors Scheme National Site Awards

Morganstone added to their long list of prestigious awards this week when both their Priory Gardens and Quayside SA1 developments were selected for the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) 2019 National Site Awards.

The two developments were selected for the awards as they were seen to have met exceptional standards of consideration towards local neighbourhoods, the general public, the workforce and the environment.

Priory Gardens in Ewenny was built in partnership with Westacres, an associate company of Morganstone Ltd, and both parties worked closely throughout the development to ensure that exceptional standards of consideration were met.

The Quayside SA1 new-build housing development was part of Morganstone’s ongoing partnership with Coastal Housing Group and Pennant Homes, and all parties placed a high importance on meeting CCS standards.

The CCS Site Awards are divided into Bronze, Silver and Gold tiers and are compared against other projects of a similar value. Morganstone will be unaware of the level of their achieved awards until the actual Site Awards ceremony.

Ian Morgan, Managing Director for Morganstone, said, “Construction projects are invariably difficult ones to manage, but we always endeavour to deliver schemes in a way that has minimum impact on surrounding areas. We value the Considerate Constructor Scheme greatly and are delighted to receive this recognition of our efforts.”

The CCS 2019 Site Awards will take place in London in April.
