Morganstone - Safety Posters Danygraig

Safety themed posters win prizes at Danygraig Primary School

Pupils from Danygraig Primary School were recently awarded prizes for the best designed poster promoting safety on construction sites.

The competition was launched following a presentation by Antonia John, Community Engagement Manager and Ben Aubrey, Senior Site Manager at a recent school assembly.

The visit aimed to teach pupils the importance of staying safe around building sites and was linked to the nearby Quayside development at Swansea SA1 which Morganstone is developing in partnership with Coastal Housing Group and Pennant Homes.

Each was presented their prize by Mael Spencer, Trainee Site Manager at Morganstone and will have their winning design enlarged and placed around the perimeter of the Quayside development at Langdon Road, Swansea

Ben Aubrey, Senior Site Manager said:

“It was really difficult to choose a winning design as we had so many fantastic entries for the site and we are absolutely delighted with the winning posters which will warn people of the dangers of construction sites which will take pride of place on our hoarding at SA1”.

Stuart Davies, Headteacher at Danygraig Primary School said:

“There are many exciting developments in the community around the school and in the SA1 area, and we are very grateful to Morganstone Construction for taking the time to visit the school and for working with our children to highlight the importance of safety in and around construction sites”.
