The hard work and commitment of the staff of Morganstone, one of Wales’ fastest growing construction companies, has been recognised at a prestigious industry awards that took place last week.
The company won the Highly Commended award at the South Wales Regional Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards at The Vale Resort on Friday, 29 April.
This is the second award in two months for the company following its win at the Neath Port Talbot Local Authority Building Control (LABC) Building Excellence Awards in February. Both awards relate to its development at Old Furnace House in Neath that was constructed on behalf of NPT Homes.
The company won the Best Large Volume New Housing Development award for Old Furnace House in February, meaning the project was selected to go forward to the South Wales regional awards.
Ian Morgan, managing director of Morganstone, said:
“Following on from our success at the awards last month for Old Furnace House, it is a testament to the hard work of everyone here at Morganstone that we have gone on to be highly commended at the South Wales Regional Awards.
“There was such a high calibre of competition here with some fantastic sites and we are delighted with the result.”
Morganstone delivers high-quality developments for public sector organisations, private developers and residential landlords across Wales and the South West of England.
The company has almost doubled its turnover in the past two years to around £20 million and has recently opened a Cardiff office. It has received numerous accolades in recent years including being recognised as the Fastest Growing Medium to Large firm in Wales at the Fast Growth 50 Awards 2015.
