Morganstone judges at Young Business Dragons

In October managing director, Ian Morgan, and community engagement manager, Antonia John, spent an afternoon in the Stradey Park Hotel helping select finalists for the school business competition, Young Business Dragons. Previous to this, they helped mark submitted business plans from each of the schools involved.

This is the second year that Morganstone has been involved in the judging process of the competition which is aimed at engaging schoolchildren across Neath Port Talbot, Swansea and Carmarthenshire to think about starting their own business in the future.

“Morganstone were delighted to be asked again to be involved in the judging process and it was great to be involved in such a fantastic event that encourages pupils to think about all the aspects involved with starting a new business.  The standard of entries for the competition was really high and the pupils showed great entrepreneurial spirit which made the job of narrowing the finalists really difficult.”
