Morganstone graduates join Neath Round Table

Two of Morganstone’s graduates were lucky enough to be invited to join the prestigious Neath Round Table recently. Sam Martin and Tomas Lewis-Edwards are both graduates of Construction Management and received the invitation from fellow Morganstone employee, Andrew Davies, who is President of the Table.

Sam and Tom are both currently employed as Quantity Surveyors for Morganstone, who are supporting the pair who are studying towards their Masters in Construction Law. Andrew Davies joined Morganstone in 2016 as a Project Manager, and has since been promoted to Contracts Manager and has delivered a selection of high-quality projects.

Neath Round Table consists of a group of professional men focused on giving back to the community through charitable means. The Table meet monthly, and provide help to anybody who is in need of support via food donations and support with shopping, collections for food banks, hospital visits with presents alongside any other assistance that may be required.

The not-for-profit raises its funds by putting on a calendar of high-profile events, such as NRT Fest, formally known as Neath Carnival. Last years family friendly event was headlined by Scouting for Girls and supported by East 17. Attendees were also treated to a dinosaur show and fun fair.

The grassroots project also uses more unconventional ways to raise funds, such as sending Christmas Elves out to Neath town centre and local pubs with donation buckets to not only spread Christmas cheer but also share the important message about the support available from the Table. Every penny raised by Neath Round Table is re-invested back into the community by helping those in need.

This years’ NRT Fest event will be held on Saturday 13th July and will see performances from the popular Bewitched and The Feeling.
