Morganstone breaks ground at Parc Newydd development

Morganstone has commenced works on a new development in Parc Newydd, Briton Ferry – for client, Tai Tarian.

A traditional “Ground breaking” ceremony recently took place at Parc Newydd, Briton Ferry to celebrate the commencement of the development. Morganstone joined client, Tai Tarian, alongside local Community and Ward Councillor, Hugh James, for the spade in the ground event.

The development will provide 31 new homes for Briton Ferry residents, consisting of: 13 houses, 1 apartment block and 6 flats.

Morganstone Managing Director, Ian Morgan voiced his happiness surrounding the development;

“We are delighted to be working with client Tai Tarian again on the delivery of another exciting new development, and also assist Neath Port Talbot Council to provide the target of affordable housing provision, set out by the Welsh Government.”

Tai Tarian Chief Executive Linda Whittaker said:

“Demand for high quality, affordable homes to rent in Neath Port Talbot is high. Building these new properties will not only help alleviate some of these pressures but also give people homes they can be proud of. Using local contractors on developments like this is important to us, so we are thrilled to be working with Morganstone once again.  We know they will deliver homes of the highest quality.”

Community and Ward Councillor, Hugh James added,

“After the turf cutting ceremony at Parc Newydd, as the local Councillor, Hugh James, I am delighted with this new development, working together with Morganstone and Tai Tarian. This development is going to totally enhance this area, and it will bring high standard housing, much needed for the people of this area. From the shovel and the spade, it’s big business as we see the development moving forward.”
