Morganstone attends Careers Wales construction event

Morganstone were recently invited to attend and exhibit at a Careers Wales construction event held in Morriston. Cyfle Building Skills and Careers Wales were amongst the other exhibitors that were present at the event that targeted clients of Careers Wales, interested in pursuing a career in the construction industry. Attendees were given the opportunity to speak with Morganstone, find out more about the organisation and enquire around any live vacancies and routes into the industry.

 “There are alarming statistics around the shortage of skilled individuals within the industry, therefore it’s very important for Morganstone to attend events such as this. It was great to meet so many individuals passionate about starting or re-commencing a career in construction. It was especially pleasing to see so many females enquiring about opportunities in the field”, Nia Collard, Community Engagement Manager.

The event was well attended, with clients of Careers Wales travelling from far and wide to come along on the day. Attendees ranged in age – some brand new to the industry, with others looking for a re-route back into the industry. We have already had several applications, follow up enquiries and e-mails around current and future roles within Morganstone. The event formed part of a series of wider events that contribute towards Morganstone’s Community Engagement.
