Morganstone and CCHA Race the Dragon in aid of Cancer Research Wales

Morganstone and CCHA joined forces to take part in the Cardiff Dragon Boat Race Festival on Sunday 14th May 2017 at Atlantic Wharf to raise funds for Cancer Research Wales. Morganstone and CCHA are currentely working in partnership to develop Schooner Way on the site adjacent to Atlantic Wharf.

The team aptly named “We’re Schooner do this” took part in 3 adrenaline fuelled races against 20 teams over the course of the day.

Antonia John, Community Engagement Manager said “It was fantastic to team up with CCHA and we were all thrilled to win the Housing Association Race and come 5th in the overall rankings; with milliseconds splitting the top ranking teams!

All who took part and supported the event really enjoyed the day and between Morganstone and CCHA we were delighted to raise £1245 for Cancer Research Wales”.
