Morganstore - Making A Difference To Those In Need At Christmas

Making a difference to those in need at Christmas

We are helping those in need have a happier Christmas this year by donating over £1000 worth of food to local food banks.

We distributed goods to food banks close to the construction sites we operate in Swansea, Cardiff, Llanelli, Beddau, Pontypridd, Pontardawe, Bettws and Pembrokeshire.

Staff across the company, from the site teams to the office staff, dug deep again this year, and Morganstone’s Community Engagement Manager, Antonia John, said: “I’m very proud that the Morganstone team, as well as staff from our sister company Westacres, have been so generous with their donations again this year.

“The Christmas food bank collection has become something of a festive tradition for us and we are pleased to be able to help those in need within our own communities, to make Christmas a little easier for those who need support.”

Morganstone gets involved in a large number of charitable and community-focused events throughout the year.

This month alone saw us hold a Charity Christmas Jumper Day and team up with Ospreys players to visit children’s wards at Morriston and Bridgend Hospitals with donations of goody bags and toys for the young patients and their families. Seeing Alun Wyn Jones up close was only matched by Santa Claus himself bringing huge smiles all around.

Ian Morgan, our Managing Director, said: “At the core of our business is that we actively engage in the communities that we work in and being able to give something back “

“Therefore, it is great to see the Morganstone and Westacres teams come together at this time of year to make a real difference to those in need.”
