Award winning construction firm Morganstone has announced the arrival of £250,000 worth of three new 13 tonne excavators.
The machines will be used across their current developments in South Wales which are located in various locations from Milford Haven to Newport, and reaffirms Morganstone’s status as a business that has grown dramatically since its establishment in 2008.
Founded by Managing Director Ian Morgan, who had previously worked for national PLCs for many years, Morganstone set out to become a locally based company with similar disciplines and service strengths as larger, national construction companies. As the new plant arrived at their sites recently, it appears the firm has achieved these aims in just a few short years.
“Despite only launching in 2008, Morganstone has grown significantly and is now one of South West Wales’ leading constriction companies in the sector that we operate. We have gone from strength to strength, not only in the achievement of turnover, but also in regards to the growth of our team and client base,” said Ian Morgan.
In addition to achieving a planned £18 million turnover this year, Morganstone has also secured a number of lucrative contracts with public sector organisations, housing associations and private developers. The investment in new plant, including a series of Hitachi ZX 130 Excavators, further supports Morganstone’s growth and helps set the company up for the future.
“With more than 90 staff employed, we are certain that this investment will enable us to further enhance the services we provide to our clients and ensure we can continue to deliver the highest standards across current and future developments,” concluded Ian.
