Hope Rescue receives Christmas donations from Morganstone and Westacres

Morganstone and Westacres recently held a company-wide collection for donations for Hope Rescue – a dog rescue centre in Llanharan. The collection was carried out in association with Morganstone’s nearby Innovation House site, for client, Rhondda Housing. The completed development will consist of 39 new homes: 16 houses, 5 bungalows (1 adapted), and 18 flats (2 adapted).

Rhondda Housing representative, Kerrin Mcnie, joined Morganstone’s Community Engagement Manager for the visit, which included the donation of: dog food, treats, puppy pads, soft toys and biscuits. Nia added, “It’s been a pleasure to arrange a collection for such a wonderful and important charity. There are many dog lovers amongst the Morganstone/Westacres team, so we’re all delighted to see our donations going towards our four legged friends”.

Hope Rescue has been helping dogs in need of forever homes, since its’ formation in 2005. The charity provides boarding, medical treatment and foster care, for dogs that have been abandoned or require re-homing. Its’ mission is to provide a loving and responsible home, for life. Volunteers from Hope Rescue also visit schools, to educate pupils around responsible dog ownership.

We’d like to encourage others to assist Hope Rescue, you can find out more on their website:
