Family Fun Day the root to creating the next generation of rugby players

The local community were entertained by a closely fought final between Morganstone Monkeys and the Huckleberry Hounds, which resulted in a draw between the two teams.

Both semi-finals only saw one point between the sides, with the Morganstone Monkeys winning against Byron’s Butchers Young Monkeys 3-2, and the Huckleberry Hounds clinching the win against the Westacres Warriors 2-1.

The cup and prizes were presented by players from the Ospreys. It was a family fun-filled day with face painting and a bouncy castle for the children, and arts and crafts for the rest of the family.
