The exceptional quality and consistent high standards delivered by Llanelli-based construction company Morganstone were recognised at the Local Authority Building Control Building Excellence Awards 2016, at the Towers Hotel and Spa last month.
The company not only won the Best Large Volume New Housing Development category for its housing development at Old Furnace House in Neath, but also received a Highly Commended award for its housing development at Parc y Derwyn in Pontardawe.
Morganstone delivers high-quality developments for public sector organisations, private developers and residential landlords across Wales and the South West of England. The company has almost doubled its turnover in the past two years to around £20 million and has recently opened a Cardiff office. It has received numerous accolades in recent years including being recognised as the Fastest Growing Medium to Large firm in Wales at the Fast Growth 50 Awards 2015.
Ian Morgan, managing director of Morganstone, said:
“It’s so important to us to remain close to our roots and we are honoured to receive not one but two recognitions at the LABC Awards. With such high calibre competition, we are delighted. Morganstone prides itself on providing high quality and efficient service, and moments like this are a testament to our hard work.”
