Celebrating the completion of Coed Y Lan development

Morganstone celebrated the completion of the Coed-y-Lan development recently. Sited on the former Coed-y-Lan Lower Comprehensive School on Lanpark Road, the scheme created much needed affordable new homes. These included 18 apartments where the gymnasium building was situated, six ground floor units with incorporated adaptions for those with special access requirements. The apartments were all built to Welsh Government development quality requirements.

During the course of the construction Morganstone linked in with local schools running site safety poster competitions, building bug hotels and holding World of Work events to encourage local youngsters to appreciate their environment and consider careers in the industry.

This scheme continued our long-standing relationship with Rhondda Housing Association being the fourth site we have partnered with the social landlord and we have been delighted to work alongside them once again.
