Tata Steel UK – Pickling Line 4
Morganstone is pleased to announce that it has been awarded a contract by Tata Steel UK for the civil engineering works for the construction of the new Pickle Line at the Port Talbot steelworks.
The contract represents an important milestone for Morganstone and marks the beginning of the company’s working relationship with Tata Steel UK on one of the most significant industrial projects currently being undertaken in South Wales.

Works commenced in July 2026, with Morganstone working alongside Tata Steel UK and the wider project team throughout the delivery of the new Pickle Line.

Our dedicated team have been on site for a short period and are already in full swing with our programme, matching the energetic pace we set out to achieve.
Our piling works are well underway, and we are tracking progress on a daily basis to ensure seamless coordination with the wider Project Invictus team. Moving into this main construction phase alongside Tata Steel UK has been an exciting milestone for everyone involved.
We look forward to maintaining this momentum as we deliver this critical infrastructure for the Port Talbot site safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
