Morganstone were excited to work with United Welsh and Harmoni Homes on the redevelopment of the former Penallta Colliery site.

The re-development at the former Penallta Colliery site created 48 new low carbon homes in Tredomen, Caerphilly. All the homes have increased energy efficiency and low carbon technology. This means they will need less energy to power them and use cleaner energy overall, making them kinder to the environment.

The development consisted of six one-bedroom apartments, 15 two-bedroom houses and 16 three-bedroom houses. 10 three-bedroom homes were also sold through an affordable shared ownership scheme with Harmoni Homes, with all profits reinvested into building more affordable homes for South Wales.
