Morganstone attends STEM event – Careers in construction

Morganstone recently attended a STEM Inspiration Event that involved students from four schools and took place in Ebbw Vale Sports Centre.

STEM stands for Science, Technology and Maths and covers any subject that falls under these categories.

The event was held to generate awareness around the growing STEM job opportunities and to ultimately encourage the students to pursue a STEM related career.

According to recent studies, 1 in 5 of the new jobs in the UK by 2022 will be STEM jobs with construction employment rates expected to grow 2.1% annually.

The event was a huge success and was widely attended by different types of STEM related organisations including Linc Cymru, The University of South Wales, Y Prentis and many more.
