Gwynfryn, Ammanford

Morganstone are worked in partnership with Carmarthenshire County Council to deliver the Gwynfryn housing development, situated off Rhodfa Frank, Ammanford, adjacent to Ty Dyffryn Care Home.

The first project between Morganstone and Carmarthenshire County Council involved the construction of 28 new social homes, consisting of 18 two-bedroom, 6 three-bedroom and 4 four-bedroom properties, designed and constructed with a Fabric First approach. The dwellings consist of a high level of insulation and air tightness.

Due to the development’s close proximity to Ty Dyffryn Care Home, Morganstone worked closely with the Home throughout the build, to deliver a series of Community Engagement initiatives.

Construction for the development began in October 2020, and was completed July 2022.
