Morganstone Ltd is currently recruiting for a Gateman on our Princess Quarter Project in Swansea City Centre. We are looking for a hardworking and reliable gateman to assist on the new development. The contract is ongoing.

As a Gateman, you will be expected to monitor the entrance and exit of the site and ensure the gates are guarded. You will also be expected to record visitors admitted to the facility, including their arrival and departure times.

You may be requested to support the Site Manager in undertaking other duties as required.

Essential Skills

• Communication skills: as a gateman, you interact with many people, including employees, customers and visitors. You will need to address visitors politely and direct them to the right place.
• Thinking on your feet: as a gateman, it is important to have quick thinking skills and a fast reaction time. Thinking on your feet can help you prevent the escalation of a problem and when dealing with a security breach or during emergencies.

 Qualifications

• Traffic Marshall training is essential
• Banksman training is essential
• CSCS card is desirable

Other requirements

You will be expected to wear PPE including; a hardhat, steel toe cap boots and a hi-vis at all times.
