Award winning construction service set to deliver affordable housing development

Llanelli construction firm Morganstone has been named as the contractor for the Castellau Road – Beddau development.

The contract, which is worth £4.2 million, will see a selection of two, three and four bedroom properties introduced to the area’s social housing market. The development is the company’s latest project for Rhondda Housing Association, a not for profit organisation which delivers sustainable housing throughout the Rhondda Cynon Taf community.

“The Beddau project on Castellau Road will be particularly beneficial to the community, with a number of high quality and affordable houses available for rent through Rhondda Housing Association,” said Morganstone’s Managing Director Ian Morgan.

Work is due to start this month on site, with the project set to be completed in 2015.

“We are delighted to be continuing our long standing relationship with Rhondda Housing Association and look forward to providing a host of new homes to the wider community and its people,” added Ian.
