All hands on deck for a day of Wildflower Conservation

All hands were on deck recently for a day of wildflower conservation and volunteering at Bryn Bach park, Ebbw Vale. Morganstone joined representatives from Blaenau Gwent Borough Council and it’s biodiversity team, Gwent Wildlife Trust, Tai Calon and Aneurin Leisure. The team donned rakes and gloves to turn over and promote new growth of the wildflowers. The group then busied themselves with hammers and nails, creating bat boxes which will be distributed throughout the Blaenau Gwent area.

The volunteer day formed part of Morganstone’s wider strategy of Community Benefits for it’s nearby College Road. The College Road development is on behalf of Linc Cymru and continues the successful partnership between the two companies. The scheme will consist of 16 houses, 18 flats and 5 bungalows for the over 55’s.
