The exceptional quality and consistent high standards delivered by Llanelli-based construction company Morganstone were recognised at the West Wales Business Awards, which took place on Friday January 22 at a glitzy ceremony at the Stradey Park Hotel, Llanelli.
The company’s efforts were rewarded with a Highly Commended award in the Construction Category at the event, run by local newspapers the Carmarthen Journal and Llanelli Star.
Morganstone has almost doubled its turnover in the past two years to around £20 million. It has received numerous accolades in recent years including being recognised as the Fastest Growing Medium to Large firm at the Fast Growth 50 Awards, which cover the whole of Wales, last year.

Ian Morgan, managing director of Morganstone, said:
“It’s so important to us to remain close to our roots and we are honoured to receive this recognition at a local awards event of this nature. With such high calibre competition, we are delighted to receive this acknowledgement. Morganstone prides itself on providing high quality and efficient service, and moments like this are a testament to our hard work.”
