Afan Argoed Visitors Park, Port Talbot

Looking to give the popular tourist destination of Afan Argoed Visitors Park a much-needed makeover, Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council approached us for our expertise. A haven for walkers, novice cyclists and experienced mountain bikers, the council were looking to enhance this attraction for locals and visitors alike.

The development gave Morganstone the chance to utilise a range of skills, as the project involved a series of conversion, refurbishment and new build phases. The work was designed to overhaul the existing visitors’ centre and transform it into a vibrant destination for individuals enjoying the forest and its world renowned tracks and courses.

Thanks to our experience working at operational sites, the project was successfully completed in March 2012 despite work being undertaken while the centre and adjoining bike shop remained open.
