Morganstone Grows a Movement for Movember

We are thrilled to announce that Morganstone will be participating in Movember this year!

It is time to grow more than just a moustache – let’s grow a movement to support men’s health.

Why Movember?

Men’s health is a serious issue that often goes overlooked and undiscussed. Movember provides a platform to raise awareness, challenge stereotypes, and support those who may be struggling. By joining the challenge, we are not just growing a moustache or beard; we are making a difference in the lives of men around the world.

With the construction industry being a male dominated area of employment, it is essential that as a company that cares for our team, we help to break down the stigma that has long been attached to men’s health issues, particularly mental health. Morganstones’ culture is centred around building a supportive and collaborative environment, where we all feel comfortable to open up and share our thoughts, concerns and challenges.

Movember gives us a chance to continue to share useful resources and information, that may be the lifeline that an individual needs.

Our team will be taking part in two of the Movember challenges. The first being a Moustache & Beard growing challenge, where each of the participants will start will a clean shaven face and aim to grow the most facial hair, we are expecting some handlebars and mutton chops, with a before and after being shared at our awards ceremony at the end of November, and a winner announced. The second is the Move for Movember challenge, where we are asking individuals to walk or run 60km in November, to represent the 60 men who take their own lives across the world, every hour. By engaging with two of the challenges we are ensuring everyone is able to join in and support this amazing movement.
